Code of Conduct
The following rules are intended for the safety and consideration of all patrons:
Any injuries or abuse of rules should be reported to a staff member immediately.
- Always maintain control of your direction and speed.
- Read and abide by all posted signs and warnings.
- Always cooperate with rink staff.
- No street shoes allowed.
- Do not carry other skaters or objects on the ice.
- No food or drink is allowed on the ice or the surrounding dashers or cap rails.
- No running, climbing on tables and benches, swinging or throwing objects in the facility.
- Young children should not be left unattended.
- No admittance when the resurfacing maintenance (Zamboni machine) is taking place.
- Refrain from acting in a manner that may cause injury to you or others.
- No abusive acts or language are permitted in the facilty.
Ice Rink Closure Policy
Certain conditions may close the ice-skating rink. Here’s what to know:
- Mechanical Failure – Issues with equipment like the Zamboni or chillers.
- Severe Cold – If the forecasted high is at or below zero, the park may close for safety.
- Rain – Rain causes unsafe conditions and can injury to skaters; closures will be determined by the forecast.
- Blizzard/Heavy Snow – Severe snow or poor travel conditions may require park closure or additional grooming that will prolong opening.
- Warm Temperatures & Humidity – Warm weather, high humidity, or temperature swings can create unsafe or damaging conditions, possibly leading to extended closures.
Notifications:
- Reserved guests may reschedule or receive a refund. Notifications are made by phone/email/social media.
- Severe Cold – If the forecasted high is at or below zero, the park may close for safety.
